Yeh Hai Chahatein 5th February 2023 Written Episode Update: The episode begins with Revati telling Samrat that he has to keep smiling in front of media reporters. Nayantara comes downstairs. Samrat becomes enraged when Nayantara does not wear the saree he chose for her. “How does she look in this saree?” she asks. He tells her that she looks beautiful in everything. Revati says that they should begin the muh dikhai ritual.

She informs Nayantara that she will present her family with a necklace. She is taken aback when she discovers the jewelry box is empty. She says that she will check into the room. She collides with Malati, and the latter drops her bag, letting her diamond necklace fall from the bag. She says that she was searching for this necklace only. She accuses Malati of stealing the necklace.

Malati says that she did not steal the necklace. She tells Nayantara that she doesn’t know anything about the necklace. Revati recalls how she put the necklace in Malati’s bag when Malati went to the washroom. She tells Malati that she never thought the latter would do something like this. Nayantara asks her not to blame Malati because it’s a misunderstanding.
Samrat tells Revati that Malati doesn’t have money for basic needs, so they should understand why Malati did that. He tells Malati that he is like her son, so she can ask for money from him next time. Malati tells them that she doesn’t want anything from them. She says that she is poor but not a thief. He tells her that the truth is in front of them.
Nayantara says that it’s a trap, and she knows Samrat is doing this deliberately to insult Malati. Revati tells her that Samrat accepted her the way she is. Nayantara tells her that Samrat is a beast. She lists out the wrongdoings that Samrat committed.
One girl comes there and says that her husband is not a beast. Samrat is taken aback when he sees her. She asks Nayantara not to accuse her husband like this. Reporters from the media inquire about her marriage to Samrat. She introduces herself as Samrat’s ex-wife, Mansi. She says that she came to wish Samrat. Revati sends guests and media reporters there.

Mansi says that she knows Samrat can’t do anything wrong. Samrat inquires as to her purpose for being there. She tells him that if he is okay with it, she can speak in front of everyone. Malati thinks that she can’t see all this and leaves there. Nayantara follows her. Revati tells Samrat and Mansi to talk alone. She takes Seema with her.
Malati tells Nayantara that she never faced an insult like this. Nayantara tells her that Samrat did this to take revenge on her. She asks her not to come to Khurana’s house again. Malati leaves from there. Nayantara sees Prem about to be hit by a car.
