Powlen is widely remembered for her brilliant performances in movies like Ratsasan, Thupparivaalan, and Vaaitha. She started her career as a model and in 2016, she was the Kingfisher Calendar girl in the same year, she appeared in a music video by Ayushmaan Khurrana titled Ik Vaari.
Her film debut was the lead in Satyameva Jayat alongside John Abraham. According to reports, Powlen was going through some personal problems in her relationship which made her take the hard decision. Her sudden death shook the entire Kollywood industry and left her fans and family devastated.
