Katha Ankahee 8th February 2023 Written Episode Update: The episode starts with Katha and Viaan trying to take the same food item from the server. Viaan realizes who the other person is and tells the other person to take it. Viaan convinces Katha to take the food. He then joins the other employees and has the served item, saying he is hungry. Katha sees it. Viaan notices it, so he stops himself from having more.

Jenny announces it’s cake-cutting time, so everyone goes to where Jeetu and Meenu are. The couple cuts the cake, and Jeetu gives it to both Viaan and Ehsan. Viaan helps Jeetu get rid of the cakes applied to him. Katha smiles while watching it. Ehsan gets uncomfortable noticing it. Jeetu tells the guests about his wife and the Earth Covenant’s importance in his life. He says that he can’t live with both his wife and Earth Con.

He also claims that the company has always treated him as a member of the family and that the employees are like family members whom he wants by his side. Viaan says Jeetu is important in their lives. Ehsan gets tensed when Katha pays attention to Viaan’s speech, so he snatches the mic from Viaan’s hand and cracks a joke, which leads everyone to laugh.
Ehsan suggests that Meenu express her life with Jeetu and her happiness to them. Meenu thanks everyone and tells them she doesn’t have a kid of her own but calls both Ehsan and Viaan their sons. She then requests that Viaan speak a few words as their son. Viaan refuses but ends up giving in to the couple’s persuasion.
He then praises Jeetu bhai’s importance and his guidance in their lives. He also thanks Jeetu bhai for always being there for them. He further praises both Jeetu bhai and Meenu for loving each other and being there for one another for these 25 years, which is really an admirable one. He also mentions that the current generation should learn from them before hugging Jeetu Bhai.
Ehsan notices Katha’s focus on Viaan and separates him from Jeetu Bhai. He then persuades Jeetu Bhai and Meenu to dance. The other employees also join Ehsan. Jeetu Bhai and Meenu agree. The song plays. Jeetu Bhai and Meenu appear on stage one by one. Katha stands off to the side, but Ehsan approaches her and leads her to the stage, where they both dance to the music.
Viaan sees this and gets upset. Katha dances with Ehsan but smiles at Viaan. Viaan leaves the place. Viaan notices that Jeetu bhai is taking extra care to serve him drinks and tells him that he doesn’t need to. He then receives a call from Batman (Aarav), who thanks the former for helping him get a dress for his mother.
He then says to Viaan that his mother is the most precious woman in the world. He asks Viaan about the source of his agitation. Viaan tells him that he doesn’t like parties but is stuck in one. Aarav asks him to do what he feels is right and also encourages him to dance his heart out.
Vivian thanks him and goes inside the party venue. The slow dance comes to an end, and another song starts playing. The employees begged Viaan to dance with them like he used to. Viaan decides to leave after doing a few steps, but he then hears that Katha’s happiness lies in carefree dancing, so he starts dancing on stage with other employees. Katha gets surprised but watches him with a smile on her face. Ehsan sees it, so he makes Viaan have drinks without his knowledge.

Viaan gets drunk. Jeetu Bhai and Ehsan take care of Viaan. Ehsan asks Katha to join him. Katha agrees. Ehsan also swears that he didn’t drink a single drop of alcohol. Katha gets surprised when she hears it. On their way home, Ehsan acts and tells the intoxicated Viaan that because of him, Katha is facing trouble.
Ehsan goes inside the house to get help from someone to take Viaan inside, asking Katha to wait in the car. Katha obliges. She then gets shocked when Viaan, in his drunken state, tells her that he regrets his actions because of the way he treated her before, and now he is sad because she isn’t talking to him.
