Dear Ishq 3rd February 2023 Written Episode Update: The episode starts with Shauvik playing a video of Asmita’s behavior toward Abhimanyu at the party. Asmita gets worried and upset. Shauvik says her behavior ruined her chance to retain her resignation from Paper Ink. Meanwhile, Kriti serves Abhimanyu his tea and tries to get closer to him, but Abhimanyu creates a distance between them, which leads Kriti to tell him that she loves to play his game and not to show interest in her, and that’s what’s pushing her hard to get him.

Shauvik assures Asmita she will get a job from another publishing house despite whatever happened between her and Abhimanyu. Asmita worries she may not get a job. Shauvik says to Asmita that he will take care of her and her family, and she can depend on him financially. Abhimanyu gets annoyed by Kriti’s behavior towards him and asks her to stay away from him. She Can’t understand that he doesn’t like her clingy behavior?

Asmita says to Shauvik that she is an independent woman who can take care of herself. She also tells him that he should have thought before saying such things. She also adds that she has only a one-month notice period and worries about how she manages to find a job.
Abhimanyu scolds Kriti and tells her that he feels bad for the way he is treating her but wonders why she is acting like this. Kriti asks Abhimanyu why he’s upset, and he says it’s because of Asmita. Abhimanyu acts and says he doesn’t know what she is talking about. Kriti shows Asmita’s video to Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu defends himself, saying all he wanted from her was to take revenge. Kriti taunts him, which leads Abhimanyu to throw her out.
Shauvik praises Asmita’s talent and tells her she will surely get a new job. He then questions her about why she chose her profession as an editor. Asmita has brought the book the City of Lakes by Maulik, which she claims inspired her to become an editor.
She praises the author. Raman, on the other hand, holds the book “City of Lakes” in his hands. Neeti arrives there and says this is her favorite book of his. Each time she reads, she gets a new perspective. She goes on to say that if he had published the book under his real name, he would have gained more followers.
Other side Asmita says to Shauvik that Maulik is the pen name of the author, and no one knows who wrote it. When her father gifted her this gift, she was reading comics, but after she finished reading it, she fell in love with this book, and this one is her love at first sight. On the other side, Raman says that the critics have not even thought his book is good enough to give it a try. He put everything in his book but didn’t get any validation.
Neeta says she is sure so many people love his book. Raman talks about Abhimanyu’s books, which have no meaning, yet he has become more popular, and the critics think his books are worthy enough to publish. He left his wealth for art, but Abhimanyu did the exact opposite. Neeta advises Raman not to think in this manner because his and Abhimanyu’s writing styles differ and they have separate fan bases. Asmita realizes she is getting late for work, so she goes to get ready.
Peter taunts Maya and asks her to do anything to make Abhimanyu sign the contract. Abhimanyu is on the road, jogging. He stumbles on a person, for which he apologizes to that person, but the other person scolds him and then leaves. Meanwhile, Asmita also hits someone by mistake and apologizes to him. She then goes to her office. Her colleagues ignore her. She then gets to know that Shalini is facing the wrath of Maya, which makes her upset.

She then meets Shalini, and the latter scolds her for ruining their company’s reputation, making her face Maya’s anger. Later, Shalini apologizes to Asmita for her harsh words against her. She further asks Asmita, “Is she sure that she wants to resign because the market is down and no one is hiring?”
Asmita tells her she is sure. Maya and Peter send their employees gifts, but not Asmita. Asmita becomes upset but tells Shalini that the best gift is that she no longer has to see Abhimanyu’s face. Abhimanyu arrives at the ink and paper shop and goes inside.
